Pedro used to pose as a Haitian Voodoo Priest, with a theatrical act to pass the patients to his office, he used to assemble heaps of candles and blow tobacco smoke until people were nervous and susceptible to throwing clues that he would use later to consummate his scam.

A lot of money would come from the phony, imploring invented prayers in a supposed African language, his clients, without knowing it, would be happy with answers that they already gave to the scammer.
One day, having heard the fame of the alleged priest, a true believer in the religion called Palo Mayombe went to visit him, seeing that he was disrespecting his beliefs, asked him to please give him a piece of tobacco a mouthful of rum.

Pedro made it easier for him; the strange character smoked the tobacco in silence, blew the brandy into the air, pulled out a strange white chalkfrom his pocket, drew a series of arrows and signs on the floor, and finally said a prayer quietly. Again, he whisked alcohol over Pedro, who asked him to please leave his office.

The stranger got up, smiled with a hint of evil, while frowning, extended his hand and said a cold sentence to Peter: "With the saints, do not play, and the dead are not deceived, because the lie is paid with blood".
The tanned visitor left Pedro's house and he felt a weight on his shoulders from that moment. The days passed and the fraudster began to have nightmares and strong death throes in his stomach, in less than 2 months he became a stripped shoulder, a beggar who started talking incoherencies and throwing curses to screams being almost naked in the middle of the street.

One day, Pedro stumbled upon the tanned man who went to his office and threw himself at his feet; the man took him by the shoulders, whispered in his ear and said:

-Do you see, Pedro? You called by joke the dead and now that I brought you one, it controls you for you not knowing how to control it. That is for you to be a testimony that, on earth, there are forces that, if we do not know how to manage, can kill us.
