The vector art of the photo image looks pretty good to me. It looks very close to the original while keeping it obviously cartoony. Kind of reminiscent of older Disney cartoons, before the CGI.
I'm not in the market for anything, but hopefully someone will want you to do some art for them. I wish you well. :)
