Hello Steem! My name is Randy
I've been here for a some time and I really like Steem. My Diploma says I'm a specialist in Accounting and Auditing but computers were always my thing to be honest with You. :) Nevertheless, that is a strong mixture of ingredients allowing me to achieve experience in different fields be that Finance or IT.
Currently I work for a start-up TruDex where we try to make sense of the flood of new ICOs and hundreds of altcoins. We collect, analyse and report on them. My position is Research & Development although lately I've been more working as IT Advisor while we were working on our website and other IT infrastructure. For those of you who may not know ICO stands for Initial Coin Offering and it's a new cool way to raise funds for a startup using Blockchain technology. ICOs and alternative coins trading is a hot topic and it will remain so in 2018 that's for sure. So, if You have any questions, ask us. :-)
Beside that I freelance as Linux System Administrator (Debian & derivatives mostly), code in Python and currently try to find correlations in digital currencies (if there are any).
Well, that's what I do, but who am I?
Well, I'm a guy in my late 20s who likes music, movies, series, cyberpunk culture. Raised by the Internet so, it's not hard to get a picture. When I'm not at my desk I like cruising with my car, hanging out, have a few drinks (GinTonic my favo) well beer also. I used to read a lot, World Classics mostly. Did I mention that I like pizza? Well I do - a lot.
What I dislike?
From quite a few things I dislike I will point one that I think is the cause of many, many others. Ignorance. Be cool, open your mind and let some fresh air get inside!
Last but not least, my logo and cover picture. :))) It's a game from Lucas Art mid 90s - Grim Fandango which I used to play with my uncle as a kid. Main protagonist Mannuel Manny Calavera - the travel agent of death. A fat skeleton, is there anything more you could ask for?
As Manny would say:
"You know, sweetheart, if there's one thing I've learned, it's this: nobody knows what's gonna happen at the end of the line, so you might as well enjoy the trip."
p.s.
Is there anyone that played this game?
