STEEMCHURCH: THE JOY OF GOD IS MY SALVATION
Romans 14:17
"... Because the Kingdom of God is not food or drink, but justice, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit ..."
JUSTICE, PEACE AND JOY IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
You are living a life full of peace? You who may already have years in the service of the Lord who have just begun their journey in the Lord, are you truly experiencing a peace that surpasses all understanding?
Just like when we are in the middle of the storm and we can feel at peace without being disturbed? in the storm you sleep well, like Jesus sleeping in the stern of the boat, you know what that is? You have experienced it.
That is what God wants with us, peace and Joy but I believe (and this is my personal opinion) I believe that joy is more important, without joy there is no peace, The joy of Salvation! this produces in us fullness, a full, saturated life, known for joy, that you walk in the Lord, you can say, I know the joy of my salvation.
But it is also true that many of the Christians who work in the house of the Lord, in their service, are attacked, and their joy is also attacked, the enemy wants your joy to be frothed, wants you to get bored or you work chores of the church
We, perhaps, are waiting for attacks from Satan in obvious places and sensitive places and we ask that the Lord cover those places with the blood of the lamb. But many of us do not realize that Satan is behind his joy. Your joy is on your target.
Satan would like you to become those things and realize them by forgetting the joy of the Lord. And that work becomes pure desire. That is, he loses you in the details. And even the work in the Lord, even preparing his discipleship class, his class for the Bible school, becomes like a monotony, because he has done so many times. Perhaps you have done so many years, and when you do it without the joy of the Lord, you lose sight of the reason behind this, lose sight of the glory of the Lord.
This is the beginning of something negative and it is not God's model for our lives.
JEHOVAH'S JOY IS OUR STRENGTH
We must keep alert and ask the Lord for our joy of salvation, we must remember at all times that Jesus loves us, who is seated at the right hand of the Father, who has all authority over heaven and earth and under the earth , the one who rose from the dead and who will come to judge the dead and the living, that Christ, LOVES YOU.
For this reason, we want to get away from sin, we want to live in holiness, that is why we serve with joy. If we are in love with this Jesus life is a delight.
AMEN!
