STEEMCHURCH: SALVATION IS INDIVIDUAL
St. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not be lost, but may have eternal life.
Although God does not love and give us salvation, requires faith and belief in Jesus, as Christians no matter how much we love our families and friends and preach and pray if they do not decide to believe, we can not do more.
When Christ comes we can not draw a list of people and tell Jesus, hey, I was happy, I would like you to please me and take my mom, my boyfriend and my grandmother with us! DO NOT
SALVATION IS SOMETHING PERSONAL
St. John 11:25 Jesus said to him: I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me, even though he is dead, will live.
Salvation depends on your relationship with GOD, Salvation is not a family affair, Salvation is not transferred, Salvation is not inherited.
The bible speaks in a personal way in the singular, which indicates the individuality to which we refer.
In the Bible we find many examples of believing parents, whose children were not saved. Starting with Adam, with his son Cain. Abraham, with his son Ishmael. Isaac, with his son Esau. The sons of Eli were ungodly men and they had no fear of God. King David, with his son Absalom, etc.
The Word of God is very clear to affirm that salvation is something personal, and not a family inheritance. Rm.14: 12? Will each of us give God an account of himself?
Now, what continues after I am Saved? Is that the end of everything? Am I Saved and already? Do I just look for my Salvation and forget about others? The categorical answer is No !, we must share with the whole world what we have received from GOD through JESUS, let's see several biblical quotes that confirm this position:
St. Matthew 28: 19-20 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and behold, I am with you every day, until the end of the world. Amen.
St. Mark 16: 15-16 And he said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
God gives us a commission, bring good news to every creature, that is our role, now reflecting a bit on this particular, the bible speaks of giving recognition to those who deserve recognition: and the church @steemchurch is carrying out this great commission and as good leaders help us also to carry out the mission, because since @steemchurch exists, we have begun without stopping to speak of God and his word, sowing the seed that we will all see harvested!
