STEEMCHURCH: REJECT WHAT MAKES YOU DAMAGE

Today I want to share with you a story I read a few years ago and today browsing the web I found it, try to show that in friendship as in life it is necessary not to hold a grudge in our hearts, to let time run and to heal wounds, not giving importance to bad things, that perhaps hurt us but understanding that the things that make us happy and fill us with love are those that are worth recovering.
Why do we waste our time giving importance to those things that we will never build? Why do we waste valuable time in our lives focusing on revenge and resentment? better invest our lives in things that bring us as a result love, forgiveness and friendship.
According to an Arab legend, two friends were walking on a trip, while the trip progressed an argument arose between them and one of them offended the other with a blow to the face, the offended friend without saying a word rushed to write in the sand:
MY FRIEND KICK ME IN THE FACE
Feeling hurt by the discussion they continued the trip without saying a word.
Later they found a river where both decided to bathe, both were very tired from the trip and by the id the friend who was offended earlier was more sleepy and because of that he was drowning but his friend ran help him out of the water with lifetime.
Immediately the offended and saved friend wrote on a stone
MY FRIEND I SAVE LIFE
His astonished friend asks him why do you first write in sand and then in stone?
to which he replied what is worth remembering I wrote it in stone so that it is not erased and the superficial I wrote it in sand so that the wind takes care of erasing it.
Iron is polished with iron, and man polishes himself in his dealings with his neighbor. (Proverbs 27:17)
It is easy to get offended or bitter. At the cross everything that was written against us was washed away like the offense written in the sand. When I think of what Christ forgave me, it makes it much more easy to forgive others. Also, true friends are hard to find. It is not wise to let one slip from our life, because of an offense.
