Kyoto trip pontocho 🐡fish sperm 京都先斗町ごはん🍺
After Gunkskuji we took a taxi back to Pontocho. Amongst the many bars and restaurants lining this ancient, cobbled lane we chose to eat at a kushikatsu restaurant which overlooked the Kamogawa river. Kushikatsu is various meat, fish and vegetables deep fried in breadcrumbs. In addition we had sashimi and shirako. You may be shocked to know that shirako is fish sperm! Anyway, it seems sperm goes pretty well with beer and shochu!
