PRECEDENTS OF THE SPANISH POLITICAL SITUATION(II)steemCreated with Sketch.

And we have Mariano Rajoy president, a gray man with no charisma at the helm of the nation. The economic situation is scary: a strike of 21% and a deficit of 8%; a public debt tripled in 3 years. Rise of protests on the street and request for more cuts from Europe.

A sublime cocktail

Between few parties, the government of the right begins its adventures with a severe cut of public spending. Adjustments in education and health; control of the deficit ... and more labor reform. All this, in order to avoid the bankruptcy of the country. These measures, as expected, were more than unpopular, causing a variety of protesters and even the defeated unions to take to the streets to defend social rights. Society warmed; slowly and with good handwriting, the conflicts increased. And if that were not enough, the first two years of Rajoy's government, unemployment rose from 21 to 26%.

The cocktail was sublime.

At the cultural level, the right-wing government had promised to overthrow the work of Rodríguez Zapatero. Outside the laws of historical memory, gender and socialist education. Within a limitation of the law of abortion. The absolute majority made possible the decent and neat conservative dreams, but the street presented a strong answer.

Meanwhile, the socialist opposition was in an unknown location, head down after piloting the country in the years that the crisis began. In the middle of the orphanage on the left, a tertulian and professor, named Pablo Iglesias, capitalized on the discomfort of large sections of the population with his new movement: Podemos.

Unemployed students, long-term unemployed, disappointed workers, social organizations ... a rich mosaic of social support seemed to feed the new political movement. The polls were on their side and, from the time of the Republic, they gave the winner to a confessionally anti-capitalist party.

This situation spread panic in large sectors of the state. A red party could take power. The alarms went off and it had to be prevented at all costs. Thus, from sectors of media journalism, began a war without quarter against Podemos and its leaders, with the intention of sinking their reputation before the public. Meanwhile, the ruling right sought to strangle the socialist opposition. For that, what better than inflating another competitor party on the left. More radical. More threatening to its classic voters. Of course, a masterful move: he mobilized his voters while dividing the opposition.

Sun Tzu would take off his hat.

Little by little, the riders of the apocalypse left Spain. The deficit began to fall and work began to be created. The situation was improving little by little, and the very reviled government of the right began to take oxygen. In 2016, the unemployment rate had already fallen below 20%, and in the elections of 2015, the right repeated in power ... although without an absolute majority.

A new scenario opened before our eyes.

The growing economy; the social conflictivity going down; the right accepting the social changes of the modern and forgiving its enemies ... the left had to invent something. The conflict was necessary. A new cultural war had to start.

If something works, do not touch it. So they decided to re-bubble the bubble of gender ideology.

Machismo was in society; patriarchy was like mites, invisible but present everywhere. The West must be demolished and rebuilt, with new, inclusive and multicultural horizons. A new lobotomized and obedient utopia was the new objective to pursue.

The left took to the streets: demonstrations here and there. The journalists of medium hair, gave voice to their bullies and they put gasoline to the fires. Meanwhile, Catalonia, a region benefiting from the budgetary distribution of the state, was launching the independence bidding by calling a referendum.

Spain was on fire and as usual, Mariano Rajoy disappeared.

In the midst of economic recovery, social conflict grows. On October 1, 2017, Catalonia organizes an illegal referendum in its territory. Printed ballots at home; null control over the influx of voters and participation less than 50% .With these ingredients, and without surprise, the independent convenors were winners of the referendum and, the Generalitat of Catalonia, decides to make a fool of himself by ejaculating an early independence of 10 seconds.

The briefest state in history.

Rajoy wakes up. It makes use of its mental faculties and sends police and civil guard, resulting in clashes between the independentistas and the police.

Relive the Spanish nationalism, which accuses of docile to the performance of the government and asks for more hard hand. Meanwhile, the left continues to reorganize and prepare a new coup. On March 8, 2018, the first feminist strike was declared.

What was the results? As the writer Santiago Armesilla said, sociocultural success and political economic failure. A strike with massive demonstrations and jobs working at full lung. Meanwhile, the excesses of the feminist lobby, aroused misgivings in a significant layer of the population. The conventional political scenario supported these manifestations and privileges completely ... but as in the moments before the emergence of Podemos, something was heating up in the environment.

And here Vox will emerge.
