Explore Australia with me [1]🇦🇺🐨 TOP 10 CAFES in BRISBANE AUSTRALIA 😋👅

in #food7 years ago (edited)

Hi friends, Wanna find out the top 10 cafe in my opinion?

I am gonna list them in no particular order so let's talk food!I have been in Brisbane for over a year. The coffee culture may not be as strong as Melbourne but Queenslanders are surely catching up. No matter you have Salty dishes or sweet indulgence in mind, I have got you covered.

1.GUAGE

One of the best coffee in Brisbane in my opinion. They are a small cafe located in south bank with beautiful interior. I would recommend their breakfast but not lunch. The quality of the food is 10 out of 10 but the proportion of the lunch menu is disappointing for the price. My barista friend told me she appreciates the quality of the coffee so much she would walk here to take away one.

Address: South 4101, 77 Grey St, South Brisbane QLD 4101

2. Corbett & Claude

This place I discover when I was looking for a restaurant to go on my birthday and I ended up going there for my 20th birthday. So, it is a pretty special place to me. Technically, it doesn't count as a cafe but I do order coffee, haha. The best dish is hands down their creamy mushroom pasta! The flavours just works perfectly together and I am so tempted to order the same thing over and over again. The pizza and cocktails are also amazing! They have salad and vegetarian options as well, so being on a diet is not an excuse to skip this restaurant.

Address: Corbett & Claude, 231 Elizabeth St, Brisbane, Qld 4000Australia

3. Jimmy's on the mall

Located at the heart of Brisbane city, it is one of the most ideal place to get a meal in between you're shopping around Queen street. I would recommend their garlic king prawn spaghetti and truffle mash potato as a side to share. I love how they are located right in the middle of Queens street which makes it the perfect place to people-watch and the natural sunlight is great for taking some foodie pictures.

Address: Queen St, Brisbane City QLD 4000

4. Cafe iconic

This cafe is special due to its interior which almost feel like a hipster garden. After you ordered at the counter, you can walk down to this open space to enjoy your meal. It will be such a good place to sit and read or catch up with a friend. I remember I had a lamb dish but forgot what it is called.(Oops!) Overall, great atmosphere and food.

Address: 340 George St, Brisbane City QLD 4000

5. Cafe Anthology

Loved by so many employees around CBD, it is hard to find a seat in this popular cafe during lunch hour. I absolutely love the presentation of the food! It's so vibrant in colour that you just wanted to take pictures and appreciate it later.😂 Plus, the beautiful latte art they make is impressive. 100% recommend!

Address: 126 Margaret St, Brisbane City QLD 4000

6. Cafe Brisbane

If you want something more filling, try cafe Brisbane. I tried the salmon and my friend ordered a burger, both came in a very satisfying proportion. One thing that I like is their marble table which always make the picture extra glamorous.

Address: 266 George St, Brisbane City QLD 4000

7. Julius pizzeria

Ok, I know I am cheating again, this technical is not a cafe but hey, who doesn't love a good pizza? I went with my friend who is a vegetarian and she ordered a pizza which looks so appetising. This is again a great place to relax with some good friends and gorgeous pizza. The cutest thing was actually I saw a table next to us, a group of elderly was having wine and pizza. They all look so happy that I wonder if I can be like them when I grow old.👵🏻

Address: 77 Grey St, South Brisbane QLD 4101

8. Dello Mano

Only go when you have strong craving for something EXTRA sweet, haha! They do really good brownie, I think it's what they are famous for. I like that when you order a hot drink and they'd give you a piece on the side. I like how rich and indulgent the dessert are. However, one thing that I don't like is the location. It is inside an arcade so the light is always dim. Still, a great place to get a sweet treat.

Address: Tattersalls Arcade, Shop 8B, 215 Queen St. Brisbane ( Mall)

9. Sonder dessert

As the name suggest, it is really a place for dessert. I LOVE the interior, it is so cosy and all the white decor just go really well together. They are famous for their green tea dessert and drinks. They are very innovative with the rose cheese cake we ordered. There was this jelly like part inside which balance out the flavour so nicely and added a new texture. All in all, brilliant place to chill and enjoy something sweet.

Address: 7c Farne St, Sunnybank Hills, Brisbane QLD 4109

10. The whisk

I know I said I didn't list them in an order but I am leaving the best for the last. This is a cafe located in the middle of nowhere to be honest. It is not near a huge mall or the city but I just love going there. They have some of the best pastry I've ever tried and they sold out so quickly. I also enjoy their ice tea during the summer. The whole experience allows me to imagine as if I went into a part of France and I am just relaxing with my danish and tea.

Address: 103/20 Sanders St, Upper Mount Gravatt QLD 4122
