Animation Lab #6
This effect is called reaction diffusion. I've always thought it looked cool, but I'm not sure what I could use it for.
The main idea is that each point on a curve has something like a force field around it pushing itself away from the nearest points. That's the really simple explanation, but in reality its a bit more complex and mathematically intense. Anyway I think it looks pretty cool and thought some of you might think so too.

If you were animating elephant's toothpaste maybe? :D Or wanted to generate a quick brain? Or just something like this purely for the coolness factor, I'm sure you'll find some use for it down the line XD

This is pretty neat @midlet, however it reminds me of moving worms.
