Tips for Making Ratatouille

Global Steem friends at home, have you ever watched an animated film called "Ratatouille?"

For me, this is a very unique film. From the title, this is one dish that is quite famous in France. And this Ratatouille tastes really good, kind of vegetable.

Ratatouille, this mouthwatering vegetarian dish is a traditional French dish. In the form of vegetables, with basic ingredients such as eggplant, zuttini, paprika, and various spices such as garlic, onions, pepper, rosemary and olive oil, which are arranged beautifully on a baking sheet. And previously covered with fresh tomato sauce.

Ratatouille is usually cooked in the oven for 30 minutes. The pan is covered with parchment paper, or you can use aluminum foil.

The vibrant and beautiful colors, as well as the unique presentation, make this dish taste delicious, and delicious when enjoyed. Both in hot, cold, and room temperature conditions. Therefore, ratatouille can be enjoyed as an appetizer as well as a main course.

Because ratatouille is actually cooked in the oven for about 30 minutes. For me that is quite a long time to cook vegetables. Do you think the nutritional content is reduced or not?

"Ratatouille's main component is vegetables. So it can be used as a side dish, as an appetizer or dessert. The ingredients include onions, celery sticks, eggplant, tomatoes, zucchini, red, yellow and green bell peppers, cauliflower and broccoli, rosemary, bay leaf, oregano and thyme.

The first step is to make tomato sauce.

Chop the onion, heat the butter. Sauté the onions, garlic and add the chopped celery sticks. Add fresh tomatoes that contain lots of water, then add rosemary, bay leaf, salt, pepper and finegar. Stir until the sauce is completely mixed.
The second step is to make the ratatouille composition, cut the peppers into squares. Then cut the eggplant and zucchini.

The third step, pour the tomato sauce on a round glass plate, flatten. Arrange the eggplant and zucchini evenly on a plate that has been given tomato sauce. Add broccoli as a complement to the vegetables, add salt, sprinkle with tomato sauce again. Then sprinkle with oregano and rosemary. Wrap the dish with aluminum foil, bake in the oven for 30 minutes. Lift. and you are ready to enjoy it.
