Succumbing Does Not Mean Losing
Every struggle is a dream to want to achieve victory. The battle of life will feel more meaningful if we are able to conquer the challenges that are in front of us. And that means we want to achieve victory. But does winning always have to be in our lives? Does winning have to be a fixed formula that we must get in every action and behavior of ours.
Of course I will return to the expressions that we often hear in society. There are people who often advise us by saying.
"Let's give in to win."
It turns out that winning is not always in front. Winning does not always have to show that we are strong, powerful, and good. No!
But it turns out that there is a formula that makes life more beautiful, namely giving in to win.
There was a trader who was arguing with his customer. This trader felt he had won, whatever he did he won. But sometimes this trader didn't want to do it. Why?
Because even if he won, the customer would run away and move to someone else. So, this trader often takes the action of giving in, positioning himself in a losing position. But to achieve victory, because by giving in, it turns out that the customer does not run to someone else. The customer feels that he is positioned as a king. Because that is the beauty of the relationship in our lives.
Children to parents, sometimes on one side, parents are clearly wrong, but sometimes children do not just because their opinions are too excessive, they express themselves Oh, I won."
But children sometimes try to position themselves as giving in, for the sake of respecting their parents. But in principle, they win.
When we work, we argue, we have conflicts with our co-workers. We may be proud because we win, but the next day we can't do anything, because a work situation has been created in our room that is not conducive, and we lose friends. That's how it is and so on.
So, in life we must build a belief in values, where when we are faced with a problem. And it is clear that we are in the right position, there are times when we have to step back to admit and declare ourselves guilty. Because if we claim to win, and position ourselves standing tall in front of others, as if they are intimidated, their dignity is lowered. Then they will run away from us.
So, in this life we need to learn. Expressions that are often expressed in wise words by society, of course, have a very meaningful value to build our spirit and integrity in our personal lives, our families, and our society. Giving in to win, or then we persist in declaring victory, but in fact we have lost. Our hearts are the main path to organize life matters, because the source of all these attitudes is in ourselves. And in ourselves what determines is our hearts.
Stay steadfast in organizing our hearts, hopefully it will be useful and hopefully we will always have peace of mind.
