Maintaining Islamic Brotherhood

One ​​day the Messenger of Allah prayed in one of the mosques in Medina, in his prayer there were 3 requests from the Messenger of Allah to Allah. However, among them, there is one prayer that is not answered by Allah, and this prayer has now become a hard task for all of us.

There is one place on the outskirts of the Nabawi Mosque, still within the limits of the Medina city area. There, Rasulullah SAW once offered a prayer and prayed to Allah SWT, with 3 things.

First, the Apostle SAW prayed to Allah and asked that his umad in the city of Medina not be hit by famine. And towards this first prayer, Allah granted, Allah granted the prayer of Rasulullah SAW.

Then, the Messenger of Allah also prayed for the second thing. Where Rasulullah SAW asked and pleaded with Allah, so that Medina and its umad would not be hit by floods, like those which hit the umad of the prophet Noah. And this second prayer was accepted by Allah SWT.

As for the third prayer of Rasulullah's prayer, Rasulullah prayed, asking Allah SWT to keep his umad away from strife, away from conflict and division. And it turns out regarding prayer number three , Allah didn't grant it.

Well, the place where the Rasulullah SAW prayed and offered munajat, where these three prayers, two were granted by Allah. One, no, then it was enshrined into a place now known as the Ijabah Mosque. The mosque where the Messenger of Allah, SAW, prayed and prayed to Allah. Two prayers were answered, and one was not.

Regarding the two prayers of the Messenger of Allah SAW, we can prove how the city of Medina became a prosperous city, which is very extraordinary. Even though there are no banana trees in Medina, it is not difficult for us to find bananas. Even though there are no people growing apples in Medina, but it is not difficult for us to get apples. And the wealth that is very abundant, extraordinary, makes the city of Medina a prosperous city.

Likewise, in Medina it often rains. Although not as often as in our country. But even though the rain is as heavy as anything, Medina is protected by Allah SWT, there has never been a flood, let alone a flood like the one that befell the prophet Noah and his people. But why was prayer number 3 not answered by Allah. In fact, this is actually the prayer of the Messenger of Allah which is very important for his people. For the sake of the accuracy of his people, for the sake of the compactness of cooperation among his people. But it turns out that Allah did not answer it and did not answer it. This is our duty, that the prayer of the Messenger of Allah asking for his people to be kept away from division, his people to be kept away from conflict and strife, bloodshed, was not answered by Allah.

And we can also see these days, how the Middle East which is the center of power of Muslim countries in the world. It turns out that the people of the Messenger of Allah SAW, are fighting, the people of the Messenger of Allah SAW are in conflict, the people of the Messenger of Allah SAW, are shedding each other's blood. No exception is the country where the Messenger of Allah was born.

This is our homework, our task, oh it turns out that reconciling brotherhood, reconciling fellow believers, maintaining togetherness, maintaining solidarity, maintaining brotherhood, that is a tough task for the people of Muhammad SAW.

Why?

Because there is indeed an indication, when the apostle prayed it was not answered by Allah SWT. So indeed this disaster will befall the people of the prophet Muhammad SAW.

In various places, today there are social problems, which stem from conflicts between the people of the prophet Muhammad, fellow people of the prophet SAW. And even fellow Muslims.

Even if we are together, for example, observing, we know how this problem is the most difficult problem among us, among humans who live at the end of this era, with all forms of conflict and interests that exist, but in fact this is our task and homework.

That's why Allah SWT emphasizes in the Qur'an.

"Indeed, the believers are brothers."

Therefore, strengthen your brotherhood, increase your togetherness, prioritize your brotherhood.

Why?

Because by doing so we will get mercy from Allah SWT. In fact, the Messenger of Allah SAW reminded us.

"A person is not a believer who does not love his brother as he loves himself."

Here is our shared duty and responsibility, maintaining Islamic brotherhood, national brotherhood, and Islamic brotherhood, is our responsibility to realize in our daily lives.

May Allah SWT always protect us all. Give us guidance, direction and help, so that we can control ourselves, so that we do not conflict with each other, and let us be at peace with each other. Fight for Islam with peace, not with violence.
