One of those who cultivate is Zainuri, my neighbor. Starting from 4 trees in 2019, Zai now has more than 50 trees. The result is no joke, which is more than 100 kilos of fruit once a season.
White brittle guava is resistant to pests and diseases. Also the results are more profitable. Guava is the king of vitamin C.
Every day Zai is able to earn an average of 200 thousand rupiah. 1 kilo gram of guava is sold for 8000 rupiah.
Besides being delicious, guava also contains a lot of vitamins, especially vitamin C. Which functions for endurance, and increases our platelets. In addition, guava is also one of the fruits that are easily available in the community.
Cultivation of white brittle guava is not difficult, for nurseries, by grafting parent trees. To maintain good quality, fertilization is also done in an organic way.
Meanwhile, to protect the fruit from flies or insects, one by one the fruit is wrapped in plastic, so that the fruit is free from interference and safe if consumed directly.
