Vegan. This term is still not widely understood huh?

So actually there are many types of vegetarians. There are semi-vegetarians, who don't eat red meat, but still eat poultry and fish.

Locto ovo vegetarian who only tolerates milk or eggs. And there are also lacto-vegetarians who don't eat meat and eggs, but still consume milk and its processed products.
And lastly, vegan.

This type of vegetarian does not eat animal products at all, including milk, eggs, and gelatin. There are even some people who do not want to eat honey, because it is a product of bees. But remember, vegans need to be nutritionally conscious, as food choices are limited. So you have to be more careful so that your daily nutritional needs are sufficient.

If someone is not strong enough to drink animal milk or is on a vegan diet, but misses cheese, there's no need to be sad or bitter. I give an alternative, this is how we make almond cheese.

First, boil the almonds until boiling, peel the skin. Almonds that have been peeled, put in a blender, along with yeast, lemon juice, olive oil, salt and seasonings you like.

Add a little powdered jelly if you want a texture like creami cheese, or more for a hard texture.

Add water, then blend.

Once well mixed, cook on low heat until it boils or thickens.

Transfer to the mould, then allow to cool and solidify. This cheese can be sprinkled with fresh lemongrass, for a richer taste. And ready to eat.

You can eat it with crackers, or bread.
