Warm Memories || A Treat with Friends || 10% Beneficiary to @steem-nations

It’s been 2 weeks since university started, and today I had my HCI class. Even though coming for just one class feels like a waste of a day, the good part about thursday is that I get a break on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, so I can relax and catch up on work over the weekend.

After my HCI class, we had the whole day free with no other classes, so we all sat down
By the way I had a pending treat I owed my friends for a while, but I literally don’t remember what the treat was for 😂😅 I just promised to bring some homemade food.

So, I made biryani, and my mom made kheer 😋🍴 for my group mates. But carrying two boxes along with my bag on public transport was a real challenge. Thankfully, I got a seat on the bus, so I made it to uni. I gave the canteen uncle the box of kheer to put in the fridge so I could get it during the break.

After class, the first thing we did was find a spot where all 9 of us could sit and eat peacefully. But then, we realized we forgot to bring plates 🙂🙂 So, my friends went to get disposable plates and came back with cold drinks too basically it turned into a full party day

When everyone was there, we started eating, and everyone really liked the food. At the end, when the biryani was almost finished I brought out the kheer. In this hot weather, eating cold kheer was a whole different kind of enjoyment and they all loved it.❤️❤️

I did not take any pictures of the food because, at that moment, everyone was enjoying the meal, laughing, and having fun. It was such a nice time ❤️ that I didn’t feel like taking out my phone to snap pictures for content I just kept it natural.

After the party, we cleaned everything up and sat down to play cards since everyone was about to get busy again soon

While we were eating, I thought that one day we will all be in different places, and we will miss these moments. My group mates are so great they said, No matter how you cook, we will eat it. Just make it for us, the taste doesn’t matter. What matters is that you put in the effort and made it for us

For me, this is something I will always remember. In life, there are very few people who truly appreciate you when you try something new and I’m so glad I have found those people in my life.❤️❤️
