Overcoming Technical Glitches in My FYP || 10% Beneficiary set to @steem-nations
Hi everyone
I hope you are all doing well. I have my final milestone for my FYP due next week and I have not even started yet. After a whole week of being busy I finally got some time today to work on it but when I opened my project my mind was blown because my working code was completely messed up. Last time I closed it everything was running perfectly without any issues but today I faced tons of errors
The first issue was that the version had updated and honestly this is the worst thing that can happen while working on a project. All the libraries were updated and it was overwhelming to understand and fix everything
To solve this I deleted and re-downloaded the Expo app with the new version but then I found out there was not enough storage space for the new version. So I deleted some extra apps to free up space re-downloaded the app and tried running the code again
That is when I faced another error the data was not submitting. I was so frustrated because instead of making progress my old code was not even working. After hours of trying I realized the issue was with my firewall and security settings which were blocking the data submission
I had two options: either disable the firewall, which was not a safe option, or find alternative settings to bypass it. I started researching and found some settings that could allow the data to pass through without removing the firewall.
I used GPT and Google to follow the steps, but it still didn’t work. So, I decided to dive deep into the settings and workflow myself. After applying multiple solutions, I finally managed to fix the problem, and now my FYP code is running properly again.
However, the entire day was wasted fixing these issues, and now I have only six days left to complete my task. Wish me luck! I really hope I can finish it on time.
