A Little Bit of Today

The day begins with the blessed Friday, I quickly finishing household chores before it is time for prayer. The beautiful thing about Friday is that when the sermon (Khutbah) takes place in masjid near my house the sound reaches the house through the speaker. Friday feels different from the rest of the week. After taking a shower, I prayed namaz and then I recited the Quran.

I thought I was finally have some free time , but the very next minute, my younger sister brought her 9th grade chemistry and physics practical journal to me.I made the mistake of saying I would help her so now all the diagram making work is on me According to her it is my duty to draw all her diagrams because she is the younger one and I am the older sister so I was forced into it😭

we were busy in making journals and coincidentally a Flower seller came to our street, and my sister bought a small pot of marigold flowers. I had asked her to get a pot of rose, but he didn't have any, she brought the marigold instead it is also beautiful But these flowers died within 2 to 3 days But these flowers looked very beautiful But I’m sure that after these flowers died there will be coriander growing in this pot just like always.😂

it was almost evening. So I took my laptop and headed to the yard of the house. I enjoyed the cool wind , sipped some tea peacefully, and had a few samosas. I also tried a new ready made tea cake it was a marble cake. It was quite good in taste but I preferred the walnut flavored tea cake I tried last time.

Sitting in the yard of our house in the evening is my favorite thing to do because we live on the 3rd floor, and the surrounding houses are a bit lower so we get a really nice breeze at home very easily .

My sister and I have a rule to have a noodles party on the weekend twice a month. My role is mostly just giving her money for the noodles and in return I get about 3 or 4 bites. Since she is the one who cooks the noodles she believes the cook deserves a bigger portion 🙂🙂 and honestly those 3 or 4 bites are more than enough for me. I never know what experiment she’s going to try with the noodles every time, she comes up with a new spices or recipe. Today she made chili oil noodles. They were pretty good in taste but too spicy for me because I have a low spice tolerance.
