Gabriel wasn't born with a Silver spoon and has always struggled together with his Mother who was a widow for survival.
Gabriel hawked sachet water in the street daily to make ends meet and support his Mom in paying for his School fees and up keep of the family too.
Gabriel is a well built young man in his early twenties basking in the euphoria of his youthfulness and exquisite physique, Gabriel excelled in his academics and luckily won a scholarship for his Secondary education. He wished the Scholarship will see him through the University too. Unfortunately, sequel to the completion of his Secondary Education, life turned darker the more for Gabriel and his poor aged Mother.
Philomena, Gabriel's Secondary school mate stumbled on Gabriel at a commercial motor park hawking as usual. Astonished on seeing him, Philomena screamed excitedly.
Gabriel's brainy and high intellectual capability coupled with analytical and problem solving skills attracted Teachers and Students to him while at Secondary school and he was loved by a large populace of the School.
He possess the attributes of a well groomed Student who could integrate fully in both academic and extracurricular activities. Sporting activities and the School's Paramilitary group was led by Gabriel.

Philomena's news on her recent admission to the University and registration as well as Accommodation hustle wasn't really captivating before Gabriel whose chances of ever furthering to the University is almost dashed away and appear impossible at the moment due to financial bottleneck.
Philomena whose Dad was a wealthy and influential businessman, offered to assist him foot his University bills.
Gabriel excelled in his Pre-University examination and secured admission to same School with Philomena although, was a year behind her.
Heartfelt gratitude characterized Gabriel's emotion who hurriedly express his love and affection for Philomena.
Gabriel and Philomena were an exact representation of the proverbial lovebirds as it was clearly seen from their daily lifestyle and frequent visits.

Gabriel assisted Philomena in her assignment until she graduated while Gabriel continued with his academic journey.
Upon graduation, Gabriel secured a Job with the military and was privileged to embark on series of travels within and beyond his Continent.
Philomena was excited when she was told about Gabriel's transfer to within the City she lived. She has been seeking for jobs but was unlucky to get any.
Gabriel looked at Philomena with disdain and despised her instantly upon seeing her.

Gabriel loved another Lady he had met on one of his numerous trips and forgot about his first love, Philomena despite the hurdles and sacrifices she had made for him.

Some years later, Philomena changed City and luckily, got married to a senior Military Officer.
Philomena was enrolled for a Postgraduate program and lived within the University off campus location. She visited her home some time and saw a military Officer in her house who was recently deployed to oversee and control activities within Maj. Kenneth's premises.
Lo and behold, the newly attached Officer to oversee Philomena's home is Gabriel. Filled with resentment, Philomena had discussed her past love experience with her Husband and pointed at Gabriel as the betrayer.

Filled with a forgiving heart, Maj. Kenneth thanked Gabriel for letting go his wife who he wouldn't have been opportune to benefit from her wealth of altruistic traits.

Gabriel languished in shame and regrets afterwards and served the Philomena's family.
