NextColony: My journey so far

5 months ago NextColony launched. And we were plunged into a brave new universe.
Earth had become uninhabitable and in a last ditch effort to save the human race we fled to all directions in the hope of finding a inhabitable planet to start a Colony on and ensure the survival of the human race. Thankfully We found a planet capable of sustaining life after months of searching.
Once we established our New Colony we focused on upgrading our resource production, our ship had been damaged on impact when we arrived and we knew we needed to build a ship to establish more colonies incase this planet did not work out.

We got the first explorer built and started sending it out missions to find another planet. Whilst we have had no luck so far others have established their own colonies and we managed to get our hands on some new ship designs to help us defend our Colony .

We have been hearing rumours of other colonies being attacking, colonies like ours. Luckily we have managed to acquire building designs for a shield generator and also a bunker. Incase of attacks these can be used to help defend or precious resources.

A couple of months ago we started getting hit with attacks and the growth of our Colony has slowed . Somehow others have gotten in front of us in development and are attacking other colonies to further fuel their production. Obviously I should have bought more chests off that travelling merchant.

Recently we have acquired more ship designs and even a design for a scout ship . Maybe we can do some raiding of our own once we get our scout ship up. I don’t like flying in blind.

That brings us up to the present day. We are continuing to build up our Colony and send out explorers in the hope of finding another planet to colonise.
We are also hearing rumours of a large floating fortress called the Yamato module. We will have to look into this and see if we can get our hands on some designs.

All those out there fighting for survival, stay safe and keep building !

Rather then do a traditional review of the game I thought I would tell a story about my time on the game so far. Whilst I added most of the updates and things available in game there were others I left out so be sure to checkout NextColony. If you have not already started your own Colony.
