An American Futurist With A Vision In Mind For Humanity
A great man and real visionary left us this May 18th, 2017 at the age of 101 but his legacy will stay with us forever. Jaque Fresco lectured his views on sustainable cities, energy efficiency, natural-resource management, cybernetic technology and the role of science in society. Fresco directed the Venus Project and advocated a global implementation of a socioeconomic system which he referred to as a "resource-based economy".
Star Treck animator, Doug Drexler, got inspired by Frescos' designs and worked with him on several projects. Fresco's visions and concepts inspired science fiction enthusiasts as well scientists and some of his eco-friendly concepts continue to influence the present generation of progressive architects, city planers and designers.
