Humility

Humility is a virtue contrary to haughtiness and arrogance, which has the human being in recognizing their abilities and virtues, and use them to work for the good of others, without saying so. Humility allows the person to be trustworthy, flexible and adaptable, in the measure that one becomes humble acquires greatness in the hearts of others.
The greatest humble person was Jesus who, being rich, became poor and was born in a manger, and being the most important, died on a cross
Philippians 2: 6-8
6 Who, being in the form of God, did not esteem being equal to God as a thing to cling to,7 But he emptied himself, >taking the form of a servant, made like unto men; 8 And being in the condition of a man, he humbled himself, >becoming obedient to death, and death on a cross.

Humility involuntarily makes you worthy of praise. A helpful person succeeds in everything, the greater the humility, the greater the achievement. There can be no benefit to the world without humility.
Humility and subordination go hand in hand. The bible expresses that we as Christians must subordinate ourselves to one another in humility. "Likewise, young people, be subject to the elders; and all of you, submissive to one another, clothe yourselves with humility; because: God resists the proud, and gives grace to the humble. "1. Peter 5: 5-6.
By putting on humility we can create peace and union with others. We should not be so proud that we can not receive reprimand or advice. Nor have the mentality that our opinions and thoughts are always better than others. Thinking like this does not lead us to progress or to unity in Christ.
Being submissive and humble does not mean we should give in to other people. The apostle Paul was very clear when he said that we should serve God and only God. For price you were bought; do not become slaves of men 1 Corinthians 7:23. He also writes: Well, do I now seek the favor of men, or of God? Or do I try to please men? For if he still pleased men, he would not be a servant of Christ. Galatians 1: 10
Humble people accept admonition and counsel, as Christians we should seek to please God with our lives. We must fear him and keep his word. This must be our focus: to humble ourselves under the will of God, to live and keep busy keeping his commandments, and not to try to satisfy human demands and expectations.
Having an affable and peaceful spirit does not mean that we should be passive or quiet people. God also requires action and zeal in our lives. Jesus teaches us that the kingdom of heaven is taken with strength (Matthew 11:12). Those who desire a deeper life in Christ, realize that they must be jealous, and humble. Sin can not receive permission to reign in the heart of a disciple, if we are humble, with the desire to do God's will, We will do everything possible to keep our mind and heart clean. Paul writes: In what requires diligence, not lazy; fervent in spirit, serving the Lord
Romans 12:11: 11 In what requires diligence, not lazy; fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.
To be humble is to have the same way of thinking about Jesus Christ. Who, being in the form of God, did not esteem being equal to God as a thing to be grasped, but he emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, a fact similar to men. And being in the condition of man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, and death on a cross. Philippians 2: 6-8.
Jesus is the ultimate example in humility. He did not put his own reputation or honor first, but volunteered in every situation, came to serve not to be served so God's will would be fulfilled and God could be glorified through his life.
God really follows us closely in our hearts and is willing to strengthen those who want to live for his glory. God said thus: Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool; Where is the house that you will build for me, and where is the place of my rest? My hand did all these things, and so all these things were, says God, but I will look to him who is poor and humble in spirit, and who trembles at my word. "Isaiah 66: 1-2.
Finally, my brothers, no matter how many resources you have, no matter how high your social status, it does not matter how much money you have, God look at your heart. He says in his word that it is good for man to win the world if his soul is lost, at the end of everything that matters is in our God, he knows the intentions of the heart, God knows the reasons why you do this or the other, everything we do, let's do it for God and not for men, everyone in this life wants rewards, but we should not expect rewards from man but from God, God can use man to reward you, He is the one who places the desire in the heart, humility is one of the virtues most loved by God who is the reflection of his son Jesus Christ, humility embellishes the face, humility opens the doors, humility leads you to see things that the eyes did not see ears have
