THIS PAINTING WAS BANNED FROM MY FRIENDS HOUSE!
I gave this painting to my friend when he was a bachelor. He had it for years. He told me that his wife always found it disturbing, but never said anything. When she became pregnant, she asked him to return it to me because she didn't want it in her house with a new baby there. She called it "The House from Hell." Oh well.......
It sort of has Halloween colors so I thought this would be a good day to post this painting.

its funny, the lady perceived the painting to be a house from hell and I was thinking it made me feel like I was in a dream scape looking through rose coloured glasses....I liked it, I believe that paintings we paint are in the same vibration frequency as we are when we paint them and the people who are viewing them are looking through their belief filters and what ever vibe they are in when they first view it. Maybe that is why some things GROW on people, as their frequencies change their opinions do as well.... if the vibes don't match they just don't get a good Vibe from the art. So it is just a vibrational thing, certainly not to be taken personally but noted as interesting to see who aligns with it . FUN!

Although my feelings were hurt a little, what you say is correct. Art is disturbing sometimes. Reaction, positive or negative, indicates that it has touched the viewer in some sense.
