Room with a view from yore.

Stumbled across this photo from long ago when I lived in an attic in London. I used to work 16 hours a day and studied. I had to go to classes in between jobs. It was really hard.

I held down 3 jobs and did that for 6 years straight. When I eventually got back home I was finished. It was a really hard time. In the last few years I gave up two of my jobs and I did travel a lot in the last 2 years though, so that somewhat made up for all the difficult times.

I remember taking this photo one night when I came home from a long days work and was feeling particularly homesick. It really brings back a flood of memories and I can vividly remember everything about the room with this view. Good and bad I look back at my experience with appreciation for the role it played in shaping who I am today. Reminds me to embrace ALL experiences good and bad, for it is in that experience that we grow and find ourselves and the person we truly are.
