What I am endeavoring to do is to lay out the very basic biblical basis for absolutely any person to come to Christ and to show a natural sequence this new convert should see in their own life as they grow or mature in Christ. We are going to look at what the Bible says, not some doctrine formulated by the hierarchy of a denomination. But looking at the teachings of Jesus and the Apostle to the Gentiles Paul..

There are traditions of men! Non biblical traditions, having no biblical basis. God has clearly outlined in His Word in very simple terms, how we are to approach Him. God’s Way is the Only True Way.

Jesus is the One Who said, “You Must be Born Again”

No man on earth can change this. If we try skirt around or circumvent this or ignore this, we are saying the Words of Jesus are of less value than the teachings of our “Brand” of church.

I for one will stake my eternity in the Hands of only One. His Name is Jesus! Yeshua the Christ. God’s Annointed! God’s Choice. The only path to Eternal Life! El Unico Camino! Jesucristo! El Seńor.

When a person is born again. What Happens?

Look again at the Words of Jesus. He said we must be born again to see the kingdom. He said we need to be born the first time in a natural sense for or physical birth, then we must be born again (spiritual birth) Those who do not experience this second birth will never see the Kingdom of Heaven.

Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Joh 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Straight from the Bible! The Words of Jesus!

In verse 8 Jesus makes an analogy of a person born again or born of the Spirit (Holy Spirit). The comparison is to that of the wind.

You cannot see the wind, but there is evidence the wind is blowing. We can can see the trees swaying, the leaves blowing on the ground, the grass leaning with the wind.

The wind itself you cannot see, but the evidence you can see and we can say with confidence, “it is very windy today”.

The Same with the Spirit. We cannot see the Spirit. When a person is “born of the Spirit” we cannot see something take place like the birth of a baby, but we can see the results.

So what does the Bible say takes place when we are born again?

1Pe 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
1Pe 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

1Pe 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Jesus said, if you are born again you will begin to see the kingdom.

This seeing is comprehension or understand or grasp. If you hear about Jesus or read the Bible amd there is absolutely no understanding, most likely you have yet to experience the born again experience. Don’t assume you are safe! Make sure! Call on the Name of Jesus until you experience a change. There will always be a change! Always! This is the results of the Spirit, like the wind, you didint see Him come, but you will see and experience His effect on your life.

One of the effects is comprehending the Kimgdom.

Our sins are completely forgiven

Not by some declaration of a minister on earth, but by the declaration of our High Priest Jesus Christ. By His Authority Only!

Joh 15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

Psa 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

2Co 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Isa 53:11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

1Co 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
1Co 6:10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
1Co 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

If we look at the above verse, God. Will take you even when you are a drunkard, idolator, sexually immoral. But He will not leave you this way. This is great news! Verse 11. Such were some of you! God will never let you stay in your sin. He will transform you from the inside. The moment we are born again, we are legally adopted by God, forgiven and a transformation begins on the inside and everything not godly will be confronted and defeated by the Spirit of God.

2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
2Co 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

We are adopted

Rom 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

The person who has experienced this born again experience will know they are God’s Child. Not just words, but a knowing on the inside. This Spirit of adoption that makes us know without a doubt that we have been adopted into God’s Family. There begins a cry within us that says “Daddy” or Abba Father.

Rom 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

We actually change kingdoms.

Before we were born from above, we had the sole experience of an earthy kingdom, but now we have been translated or moved from that earthly kingdom and transported into God’s Kingdom where Jesus is King.

Col 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
Col 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Eph 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

We became a new kind of slave

We used to be slaves to sin. Now we have become slaves to righteousness. We no longer hav to sin. The way we overcome our old ways is by living in the new “slaves to righteousness”.

Rom 6:11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Rom 6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
Rom 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Rom 6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

Servants of Righteousness!

When we were born again, there was a legal transaction that takes place. The devil, the world, our past have no hold on us any longer.

We become the temple of the Holy Spirit

1Co 6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
1Co 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
1Co 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

When we became part of God’s Family the Holy Spirit moved into our lives. We became the Temple of the Holy Spirit.
There will absolutely be proof He is in your life. He will not leave your the same and He will confront and conquer everything in your life that is detrimental to you. .
