My Thoughts

This verse first says that my heart and flesh are failing, BUT God is the Strength of my heart. So many times in life we can get discouraged. Have you ever been where you just want to quit or hide from life? There seems to be no reason to go on or even get up out of bed? Some may hide in drugs or alcohol. Life comes at us brutally hard sometimes. When our our Strength is gone and our heart fails God Himself becomes our courage to move on.

Perhaps our marriage is failing or our children are straying. God Himself becomes our strength and courage. Maybe even from our own weakness or choices we have gotten ourselves in the mess we are in. He is our Glory and the lifter of our Head.
