1Pe 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 1Pe 2:3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

Another sign that you are truly born from above is a desire to study God’s Word

God’s Word or otherwise called the Holy Bible is spiritual food that helps us grow our faith and strengthen our spiritual or inner man. We are to live by faith and our faith is grown through prayer and study of the Word. Faith is also grown through testing.

If you are truly born again, you want to know about God and you need to know His Word. We can go from the sincere milk of God’s Word and then later mature to meat.

From the first day that I met Jesus at age 22, until now I have loved to study the Bible. A smorgasbord of spiritual delicacies. His Word is alive. His Word is Spirit and Life. His Word is Truth.

Heb 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
