Psa 91:11  “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways,  They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.”

Purpose:

• Brag on Jesus
• Encourage the brethren
• Bring hope to those who have lost hope

I am going to tell a real account of God saving me from certain harm. Many discount such things as the miraculous or when believers claim an encounter with the heavenly. What we have to do is test things with the scriptures, not with our own experience. If you read the Bible you can see God’s people and His enemies, both experience angelic intervention. Jesus had angels minister to Him. Daniel, Joshua, Abraham, Lot, the shepherds, Mary the mother of Jesus, Paul and Silas, Peter and the list goes on and on.

The other thing people seem to do is lose their focus in what is really important. To some up what and Who is important the answer is Jesus. You and I fulfilling our purpose and taking on the character of Christ. Some focus only on the angelic and this is not healthy.

True testimony:
After my conversion, God sent me to any area where, before Christ, I had wronged so many people. You don’t hear this preached or taught much. Restitution! If you steal $100, you cannot just ask God to forgive you, move on, amd keep rhe $100. But we do this so many times. You wrong you brother, you ask for forgiveness, but you still should go to your brother and make things right.

Many say, “Well what happens if they don’t accept my apology?” What others do or don’t do, is not our problem! What we do is our primary concern. Living to please the Heavenly Father and being a doer of His Word.

In my dealings with people I had wronged before Christ, I had wronged a young man who had some very big brother and a father they said was connected with the mafia. I am not sure if this is true, just telling things as I recall them. The things I did were when I was drugging and drinking. But now I am a new creation in Christ Jesus! Before I had moved from this area, three of thee guys cornered me where I lived and beat the daylights out of me. The one brother said if he ever saw me again, he would kill me.

I get found by Jesus about 3 months later. 2 months after that He sends me back to this place. The last place I wanted to go! I was living my life for Jesus, making restitution, apologizing, humbling myself and doing what I can to make a clean start in life. Living my life based on the Word of God. Following the instruction manual!

The first angelic intervention!
The only vehicle I had at the time was a 1977 Yamaha 650. One year before they came out with the 650 Special! I had pulled into a gas station to get gas in my bike. In the same parking lot, there was a man getting out of his car and coming towards me on a mission. You guessed it! The same guy that told me he was going to end my life the next time he saw me. For some reason, I had perfect peace and no fear!

Isa 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

This guy definitely recognized me and was coming at me in anger! When he got within 8 or 10 feet from me, he stopped in his tracks, his countenance change, his eyes had the look of terror. He turned and ran back to his car and left in a big hurry. At this point I was not sure what happened.

Just a couple of days later, I was on a back gravel road on my motorcycle. I overtook a vehicle with 4 people in it. All of the same guys that I had fought with months earlier plus one more. The additional guy was the one I had wronged. It is funny how things worked out. They recognized me. They were looking out the back window and pointing at me. When we approached the stop sign. They stopped! My first thoughts were, on the motorcycle, I could certainly outrun them.

Then it happened! When I went to go, the chain on my motorcycle broke and fell to the ground on the street. For sure, I am not going anywhere! I put my bike on the side stand. Turned to face my adversaries. For some reason, I had that perfect peace! Peace that passes understanding. He prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies. Yea thou I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall not fear, for thou art with new,

The second angelic intervention!

They all got out of the car! 4 men! They all headed towards me with their mouths spewing threats! When they got 8 or so feet from me, they all stopped exactly at the same time. They all had the look of dread fear on their faces. Like all of the blood left their faces! The terror in their eyes! Hallelujah our God is Awesome!
They turned and ran! Vehicle doors slamming and as fast as they could raced away.

After I got my bike fixed and got home. I was pondering what had happened. I opened up my bible and read this. “They that be with us, is more than they that be with them”

Passage: 2Ki 6:15 And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do? And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

This is one of a few times that I have had experiences with the angelic! I am sure for all of God’s people there are so many times that God’s angels have rescued us without our knowing.

Heb 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
