The diary game||26-06-2024|| Going to work, the missing phone.

"Chosen phone don spoil ooo" .... my brother informing other neighbors, suddenly:
First neighbor: eyaaa, thank God oo

Second neighbors: At last, no wonder he's so quiet....

Third neighbor: Hallelujah, now he will have time to sleep.

Fourth neighbor: why won't the phone spoil when he keep pressing phone 24/7.

I was indoor listening to their conversation, why are they happy about my phone instead of consoling me? Let me give you a little about my neighbor and my day, welcome to my diary.

Me at 6am

I woke up early very early at around 6am, everything look boring, I felt tired and sad, something is missing in my life, want to guess? It's my mobile phone, the screen of my phone got broken and it's turned totally blanked, I couldn't do anything, both online and offline. When I turned around my brother and his friends where watching comedy, chatting and so on and it's got me frustrated.

Last night when I came back from work, I was just laying down on the bed, my brother notice it because he knew my normal way of life which is...... pressing phone. He was like, are you okay, what happened, i said nothing because I knew he will laugh at me. He asked for my phone and I've to speak up and he started laughing. They were happy, he said: "at least you'll have enough time to asleep,"... he even insisted I should not repair the phone.

In the morning he inform other neighbors and they all supported him, but I consoles myself with my small button I was managing, I had to use ear piece whenever am making class if not, the person will not be able to hear what I saying. I started preparing for work, I went to fetch water in my neighborhood and I had my bath.

Since I could not be able to use my phone to snap, I borrow my friend phone to snap. Before leaving the compound, I took some pictures because I was looking more handsome and i don't want to miss the shot.

On my way to the working place, I decided to walked because I didn't have money to board mini bus, keke maruwa or okada(available means of transportation). It was a 40min walked and i enjoyed it because I adopted as an exercise.

At one particular road, I noticed something which I will like to write about in my next post, throwing dustbin into gutters. There was an heavy rainfall last night to the extent that the water filled up the gutters. People are complaining of Flooding here in Lagos but you'll see that same people disposing their refuse to the gutters, is the government responsible for this? no. At some point, we should stop blaming the government for everything, they should do this.....and that.

We keep blaming government for everything and I disagree with that. There are some certain things we should use our conscience, *take a look at this gutter, is this how a gutter suppose to be? They have forgotten that this nylons in the gutter also contributed in flooding. I continue my walking while still looking back at the 2 workers trying to pull out some nylons from the gutter.

I finally arrived my working place and I started sleeping the environment. My neighbor were already done with shading. I first swept the environment While arranging the iron for shading. I started my shading bottle water first follow by minerals, can drinks.

At last, my exercise routine was coming up which is shading bags of rice. Lifting up this bags is not easy but am used to it. If 6 packs were a person, it's should be me, but unfortunately, it's not my fate because even after carrying this rice for 4 years, nothing is showing in my belly,not even 1 pack.

Afternoon activities

The day was boring because there was no sales yet and I had to use to use another strategies in other to sell. If they don't come to meet you then you should go and meet them. How will I open shop since morning but no sales, no, it not good that way. I started asking anybody(car) that park a long our line if any of my goods are in their market list. This is one of the strategies we used during festivals period.

Suddenly there was a quarrelling between 2 women. The 2 women were mama promise and mama Calabar. People were gathering which makes me felt so serious about it because I have never seen just gathering if it no something serious. I rushed to check only to find out the someone was been accused of stealing a mobile phone.

Mama promise sells foodstuffs while Mama Calabar sells food in the same street. Mama Calabar went to buy some foodstuffs to make soups for customer. According to Mama promise, she accused mama Calabar of stealing her phone because she's the only person that came to her shop in the morning before the phone went missing. If you're in mama Calabar shoes, what will you do? the fun part of that the phone is still rang for several hours.

I doubted it because I remember when i lost my phone, within 30min, they switch it off but this one was ringing several time. The woman who sells food was crying, begging. Why would that kind of woman stood so low to steal an Android phone. She had been selling in the neighborhood for more than 10 year and there's no single day she was accused if such activities.

Mama promise reported the case to the police and they arrested arrested mama Calabar and taken to the police station. They locked her up. "What's the evidence that she stole the phone....... it's an accusation "....... I keep asking myself.

That same day, she was granting bail of 20,000, but guess what, no one wants to sign for her. Imagine, even her close friend were busy. If you're in her shoes, what will you do? It's just a very sad story but am happy she came back that day. what would you do if you're accused on something you know very well that you didn't do it? Evening Activities

I was so sad knowing that I couldn't help the woman, I tried to console her. It's easy if you went to a police station with an offence you committed than what you didn't do. It's her first time of been locked up in a cell unknowingly. She was released by bail and she came back to pack or food stuff, all the food that day was wasted. she had been painted a bad image in the neighborhood, an embarrassment, a bad reputation.
As for the phone, the search in still ongoing and provision were made to track the phone. Won't you like to know the end of the story? Don't miss my next post.

At 7pm, I started packing, and I close at 8pm, by 9pm I was home, taking my bath, my dinner and off to bed(unusual). Since my Android is no longer working, i used that time to sleep. That's how I ended my day.

Moral lesson

🌹Avoid throwing waste bin especially nylon into the gutter, it's contributed in flooding during rainy season.

🌹Before accusing someone, it's important to do proper investigation with a valid evidence.
