Personalities that will help you in times of troubles

Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

The world is full of chaos, problems, troubles, calamities, pains and worries.

It is pertinent and of great necessity that Christians yield to things that will help them stand in times like that when they come.

Not only yielding to them, but taking them as their best friend cos it is only those things that will and can help any Christian as far as this life is concerned.

There are four (4) objects or personalities that will help a Christian in times of troubles. There are;

• God
• The word of God
• Pastor
• **Fasting and prayer

-God: God created everything, he has absolute supreme power over everything. He knows everyone of us, he sees and understands what each Christian is passing through.

Remember in the Bible, when Mary said to Jesus, "How I wish you were here, my brother Lazarus wouldn't have died".

Mary took Jesus as his best friend and also acknowledged Jesus as the only one who will or who could help her brother Lazarus.

Abraham was a good friend of Jesus too. So therefore, having Jesus as your best friend will help you in times of troubles.
If God be for us, who can be against us? No body at all.

• The word of God: In Ephesians 6:17, the Bible says "Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God".

The word of God should be tour best friend cos it will help you in times of difficulties.

The word of God is sharper than two edged sword, it can build, destroy and amend. The word of God will helps us and direct us in times of troubles.

• Pastor: A pastor is also one who can help any troubled soul in times of distress. Their words of encouragement and support, even prayers will help anyone that is troubled.

So therefore, take your pastor as your best friend. Pastors are chosen and ordained by God to guide, lead and direct the people of God. They're gifts to the church and to the world at large.

• Prayer and fasting: This is an important thing that will also help Christians when troubles comes.

If it wasn't important, Jesus wouldn't have fasted for 40 days and nights as well as Elijah.

There are things prayer can't solve, it is only when you fast and pray that you can conquer such things. Hence, it is very important and essential in every Christian Life.

If you can take these four things as your best friend, they will surely help in times of difficulties.
