Comfort food in rainy day #2
Hi Steemians!! Today we're expecting another typhoon so it's really kind a cold and cloudy right now. So I decided to cook another comfort dish to ease the coldness of the weather. Sharing now is this nilagang baka (beef stew or boiled beef).
Again there are many ways to cook this, but this is my version to it.
First put the pot in the stove with water, beef, onion, ginger and some whole peppercorns. Bring it to boil and let the meat tenderize. (It's always best to use the bony parts of the beef like the rib parts)
When tenderized it's then time to add the remaining ingredients like this cut potataoes, Chinese cabbage, dwarf beans and Chinese celery. And also pour in some fish sauce or salt to taste.
