People who love open space are called open space loverd. British people love open space. It may be because they have small island to share among three nationalities. Their population density is quite high, yet they manage to create large open space in each town, usually near or in front of mayor's office. The open space in the downtown is meant for open air public functions. They are convenient for fun fares, trade fares, political meetings and speeches during election campaigns, and also for demonstration by disgruntled section of the population.
ေျမကြက္လပ္ မက္တတ္သူမ်ားဆိုတာ ေျမလြတ္၊ ေျမလပ္၊ ေျမကြက္ကို ခင္တြယ္ျမတ္ႏိုး တန္ဖိုးထားသူမ်ားကို ေခၚတာျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ၿဗိတိသ်ွတို႔ဟာ ေျမလြတ္ ေျမကြက္လပ္ကို မက္ေမာစံုမက္တတ္သူေတြ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ သူတို႔က ကြၽန္းေပါက္စကေလးကို လူမ်ိဳးသံုးမ်ိဳး မ်ွတေနထိုင္ၾကရတာေၾကာင့္လည္း ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ သူတို႔ လူဦးေရကလည္း ေတာ္ေတာ္ထူထပ္တယ္ေလ။ ဒါေပမဲ့ သူတို႔ၿမိဳ႕ေတြရဲ႕ လူစည္ကားရာ ၿမိဳ႕ေတာ္ဝန္ရံုးေ႐ွ႕မွာျဖစ္ျဖစ္၊ အနီးအနားမွာျဖစ္ျဖစ္၊ ေျမလြတ္ကြက္လပ္က်ယ္ႀကီးေတြ ၾကံဆေဖာ္ေဆာင္ထားတတ္ၾကပါတယ္။ ၿမိဳ႕လယ္၊ လူစည္ကားရာ အဲဒီလို ကြက္လပ္ေတြထားတဲ့ ရည္ရြယ္ခ်က္က အမ်ားျပည္သူေတြရဲ႕ လူမႈေရး၊ ဘာသာေရး၊ ယဥ္ေက်းမႈဆိုင္ရာ အခမ္းအနားေတြ က်င္းပဖို႔နဲ႔၊ ေပ်ာ္ပြဲရႊင္ပြဲ၊ ကုန္စည္ျပပြဲ၊ ႏိုင္ငံေရး၊ တရားပြဲ၊ ေရြးေကာက္ပြဲ၊ မဲဆြယ္ေဟာေျပာပြဲေတြ၊ မေက်နပ္စရာ႐ွိတဲ့ လူေတြအဖြဲ႔အစည္းေတြက ဆႏၵျပေဖာ္ထုတ္ပြဲေတြ က်င္းပဖို႔လည္း အဆင္ေျပလွပါတယ္။

When the British occupied our country, they organized the country into seven Division; each division was divided into four to eight districts. Each district was subdivided into townships. At the head of the township was Township Officer (TO) assisted by branch clerk (BC), Upper division clerks (UDC), Lower division clerks (LDC), peons, potdars, cashiers, excise police etc.
ၿဗိတိသ်ွတို႔က ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံကို သိမ္းပိုက္လိုက္တဲ့ (၁၈၈၅) ခုႏွစ္ အခ်ိန္ကစၿပီး တိုင္းျပည္ရဲ႕ အုပ္ခ်ဳပ္ေရးကို တိုင္းႀကီးခုႏွစ္တိုင္းဖြဲ႔လိုက္ပါတယ္။ တိုင္းတစ္တိုင္းကို ခ႐ိုင္ (၄)ခုက (၈)ခု အထိ စီရင္စုအလိုက္ ပိုင္းျခားလိုက္ပါတယ္။ တစ္ခါ ခ႐ိုင္ေတြကိုလည္း အုပ္ခ်ဳပ္ေရးလြယ္ကူေအာင္ ၿမိဳ႕နယ္ေတြ ဖြဲ႔လိုက္ပါတယ္။ ၿမိဳ႕နယ္တစ္ခုကို အုပ္ခ်ဳပ္ဖို႔ ၿမိဳ႕ပိုင္ေတြနဲ႔ ၿမိဳ႕ပိုင္ကို ပံ့ပိုးကူညီဖို႔ ဌာနခြဲစာေရးႀကီး၊ အထက္တန္းစာေရး၊ ေအာက္တန္းစာေရး၊ ရံုးလုလင္၊ ေငြကိုင္၊ ေငြေရသူ၊ ေငြစကၠဴခ်ဳပ္သူ၊ ယစ္မ်ိဳးပုလိပ္၊ ေ႐ွ႕ပတ္စာေရး စတဲ့ ဝန္ထမ္းေတြ ခန္႔ထားေပးပါတယ္။
