My Actifit Report Card: November 7 2018
Hi Steemit,
I went for a nice long walk with my kids today.
We went to Silver Wing Park in South San Diego. We started in one end of the park, walked to a play structure, then walked back to another play structure.
The kids of course played at both structures.
Along the way we ran into some mushrooms . They reminded me of the steemitmamas and how we like to give each other emoji mushrooms when we level up.
My son promptly kicked them over. Can you tell he’s wearing his shoe on the wrong foot? He insists that they are comfortable like that. I choose my battles and this is NOT one of the ones I choose to fight, so backwards shoes it is.
Another one of the mushrooms got smashed. I don’t know if these are edible but I do know that this is not the type of neighborhood to have people forage, so I was ok with him smashing the smurf homes.
The lawn mowers will be out in full effect tomorrow anyway.
We were there for a really long time. We even got to enjoy the sunset. Which isn’t surprising given our silly insistence in changing the time.
On our way out I bumped into these trees. They are poor confused trees that are keep shedding their flowers and then growing new ones. There aren’t really any seasons here in San Diego so we don’t get to see the natural progression of nature shedding, hibernating and then blossoming.
I had thought they were papaya trees but this “fruit” which was probably knocked over and nibbled on by a possum did not look very papaya like.

Hmmmmm..... the next time the kids complain about their shoes biting them, I will suggest switching sides hehehe
