Bring religion back to schools

Sitting on my rock in the ocean is just one of those things that make me realise how small we are.

God send us here to come and do a job, and he expects us to follow his rules and the way he expects us to go through life.

I wonder how many of us realise that this is the most important job that he has given us.

It must not always be about us, we must treat other people the way we expect them to treat us.

This has always been my way of thinking, as I know when I leave this earth I have to go and explain all the things I did wrong in life.

I know we are only human and it is impossible, but if we can teach children in school the rules we know are important it is so much nicer.

The biggest problems in today’s schools are that we are not allowed to bring God into the school program anymore.

When I was a principal, that had not yet happened. We never had problems, as there are different people with different religions that we must respect.

We always did not force anyone to believe in Christianity.  

Everyone had the opportunity to believe in what they were taught as children. 

We believed they were all allowed to follow their own religion and we even got their preachers and people in when the bible period arrived as it was only fair.  Every human being is brought up in a certain religion from childhood and that is their privilege.  Just because I am a Christian does not mean I can say anyone else is wrong because we have to respect everyone in his own rights.

The bible says everyone is your neighbour and if he feels different to you it is his prerogative.

I personally think we have a lot of problems at school today because there is absolutely no religion allowed.

Children who grow up in homes where their children go to church on Sundays and have their own way at home of reading and educating them, seem to be better children.

Who is to blame for that? Not the child, it is the parents who have to teach them right from wrong and the only way to do that is by teaching them their religion. 

Not all religions are exactly the same but the ways that the other religions think do not differ very much from what is said in the bible.

There are definitely small things that do work in the same way but most religions believe in being good people.

If a child is born and the parents have no religion where on earth is this child going to learn as he does not do it in school anymore, not that we do not want to, we are not allowed to.

It is heart breaking that there are children who go through life without any religion. The worst of it is that it is not the fault of the child. It is the law and the parents who cause these problems and in my small mind before we fix this the world will always be a horrible place as there are people who do not care at all.

We even have parents who use drugs, drink a lot and who is suffering, only the children.

Children are gifts from our Father that have to be loved and listened to and helped.

It is hard for me here on this rock looking at the news all the newspapers, because hardly anything nice is happening. 

Every page is death of children in over packed cars. Parents, who leave children at home, without decent supervision.

We are not looking after children the way we did years ago. That is very bad as the only ones suffering are the children.

Why is the world changing so much that we cannot leave our children alone anymore as such bad things happen to them.

Life was a lot easier when parents still looked after the children that were just lent to us, to look after to the best of our ability.

I know I sound old, but it was just in my head the way I see children changing and they do not have respect for older people.

We are all inclined to say what bad children, instead of what bad parents.

You may not agree with me but that is how I feel about it.
