I finished reading through this book I got as a Valentine's Day gift. It would have been a great book to read as a new silver collector. I did learn some things from reading the book, but the intended audience seems to be more newbie stackers. That being said, there is a TON of great info in this book, and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in silver.

The best part of this book for me was the pictures. There are some gorgeous photographs in this book. Let's look at some examples.

Here's an assortment of ancient silver coins.

And a bunch of more modern foreign silver coins.

But the page that really picqued my interest was the collection of vintage silver ingots. Check this out.

There's so much to drool over here. It's like they raided @silveringots personal stash and had a photo shoot. I recognize some of these, like the Engelhard and the Irrawaddy Counting House, but the rest I don't know. The middle bottom and right bottom look like they might say San Francisco on them. Can any veteran stackers ID some more of these?

@Methus great post!! Could you send me a better photo of that page ? You def recognized a few in there! There are 3 US Mint ingots there. Two San Francisco and one Philadelphia(super rare). That horizontal irrawaddy is a gem.

Steemit seems to reduce the quality of images uploaded. Here's the original pic I took: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1-eBRRbmOjSXpvdSel935D-0Z9mERXDxj

Thanks brother.
