My First Post On Tunes

Hey there, music lovers.

Finally, a place where we can hang out and and chat about one of the best human inventions ever: MUSIC!!!!

Those of you who follow me or have read some of my posts will know that sometimes I have a soundtrack accompanying my stories. Either the title or sub-headings in my articles are song titles, or there are snippets of verse quoted throughout.

As I write an article, I'll often hear a song in my head (or often a few). So I put together a playlist of the tracks and include it in my post.

I've even broadcast some 'pirate radio' on Vimm a few times, although the recordings usually get taken off PooTube because of copyright infringement. Fair enough.

I'm looking into what I would need to do to put together a podcast-style radio show in a way that honours and respects the artists (it looks like APRA/AMCOS will be able to provide me with a license to play tunes on a podcast, thankfully). Then I'll be able to get my HI-FI MIXTAPE show back up and running.

I guess, I just need to find a host for my podcast then... (anyone got any suggestions?)

Like my Profile says, "Rock and roll changed my life". Lester Bangs and the guy from Hi-Fidelity are my heroes. My CD collection is massive, my digital music even more so.

And no, I don't collect vinyl. CD's are the new vinyl.
