Tattoo 101 Part 12: Geometric Tattoos

in #art10 years ago

Geometric Tattoos have taken on a recent popularity and it is not difficult to see why. With memorizing patterns and beautiful crisp lines, this style can have the ability to entrance a viewer in an optical illusion.

Designs like this can take on many forms and are extremely easy to extend off off, so if you have a shoulder cap piece, extending to a half or full sleeve wont be a problem. The style also has the ability to be "mixed and matched" so you will never end up "painting yourself into a corner" so to speak.

Using color with the Geometric style or incorporating the style into the background of another design can make an average tattoo look incredibly unique. So just because your not wanting a geometry half sleeve, doesn't mean you cant have the style incorporated into the background of your next tattoo.

Do not be afraid of having fun with your tattoo and Never forget that giving Creative Freedom to your artist, generally results in a better tattoo. For more on this please refer to Tattoo 101 Part 6: Bad Tattoo Prevention for more tips on how to avoid getting a bad tattoo.
