Once upon a time|| an original poem

There lived a girl in a nearby land and she was me
She loved so hard that you'll think she's dieing
But one thing was short from her love
It was one-sided, at least she thought it was

She kept her feelings to herself
Was so near to him but still too far
She tried to let him know through her ink
Maybe he understood her inkings, maybe he didn't
Or maybe he just ignored it
She just had to clear the coast

After time and time again
Wordlessly trying to let him know,she decided to really let go
She once again went to her ink
She penned down a goodbye message

After the little thread had been broken
He finally confirmed it was never one-sided
Too little; too late
She's happy to know that she was loved in return

She's happy to know that even though the future is unknown,
He loved her,
Once upon a time.
