Hello Friends,

I will share with you the mushroom that I found in rotten wood around the neighborhood. These pictures of mushrooms I submit as my participation in the Contest of Macro Photography which is held by @sultan-aceh.

The shape of the mushroom is just like a fan or half pancake with white ring color and degrade of yellow and light brown color. I am using the scan application of mushroom identification to know the name of the mushroom. The scanner application identified that the name of this mushroom is Ganoderma Mushroom. The dirt in the middle of the mushroom can't be removed easily, I tried once but failed.

Ganoderma mushroom has lots of species and different colors with other unique categories which are different from others. Commonly this Ganoderma mushroom is not edible but is widely used for medicine. According to the Source of Wikipedia Ganoderma species have been used in traditional medicine, some species of Ganoderma contain diverse phytochemicals are used in traditional medicine for supposed benefits and have been investigated for their potential effects in humans such as in treating cancer.
