Yoga is a discipline that works the body, mind and soul. He is originally from India and is very involved with what meditation is. Besides being a very common practice in Hinduism. Breathing is one of the most important things in yoga, achieving with the successful practice of the technique calm mental disorders, reduce suffering, develop spirituality and the ability to separate the good and the bad. It is important to know that yoga takes hundreds of years to reach Europe, and in the west of the world as such it arrives in the 60s by Maharishi Mahest. From the 60s to the present this discipline has evolved in many ways, but it continues to maintain the same spiritual line and some postures that never go out of fashion. This technique is widely used by people with anxiety and stress problems due to the moderate pace of life they may have.

It is the first step to control your body and mind, although you think that one thing has nothing to do with the other, you will be surprised at the changes if you manage to control your breathing and do it correctly.

The postures

Are exercises called asanas, which consist of achieving balance and concentration while doing a certain position with proper breathing.

Among some of the postures that we can mention are THE LOTUS FLOWER which is one of the classic postures for meditation and concentration since the same BUDDHA is represented in that position.
If it comes to the benefits of this position, it should be mentioned that it gives flexibility to the hips and strengthens them, as well as serves to stretch knees and ankles, and provides an excellent peace of mind and tranquility.


Another of the simple postures that you can do when you are starting in this discipline is the pose or asana of the cat, where the most difficult of this position is to achieve the concentration necessary to develop the attention capacity, since it forces us to develop our intervertebral spaces to mobilize them. It is also important that you know that in this asana, however simple it may seem, your movements must go at the rhythm of your breathing.

For its part, THE CHILD'S POSITION on his part is an excellent alternative to alternate with other asanas of greater difficulty. It is more than anything a rest position and is used to open the mind and restore harmony and balance in the individual who is performing it. This position should be used to focus on the breath and become aware of it.

I started a while ago and a half practicing the times a week
