KFC Tests Push Technology With a Smile 😃
Alipay launched a new way to pay for your KFC KFC in China, by smiling. Up to now, the Palpsam payment system is available only in one center for KFC in Hangzhou, China. Ant Finacial, a subsidiary of Alibaba, says the smile-to-push technology needs about a second or two of face scans using a three-dimensional camera and a "life detection algorithm" to verify the identity of the person paying, Also enter his mobile phone number to help avoid fraud problems. The pilot version of this iron-driven technology was introduced in 2015 by Jack Ma, the founder of Alibaba.
According to Ant Financial, the algorithm can detect shadows and other features to test whether the person standing in front of the camera is actually a person, not a photo or video user to fool the payment system.
