Color Challenge | Red Monday

I woke up late today around 10ish and it was raining. I realized it was a Monday, because it shows on my phone screen. The days does not matter much to me since I got sick with kidney failure. I do not have to be anywhere other than at home or the hospital for my dialysis sessions in the afternoons of some days. This week, I'll have them on Tuesday and Saturday.

On a Monday, I usually wake up to an empty house. People would be at work or in school and I'd be alone with dogs. I don't know how many dogs we have but probably we have more than I could count with my fingers. They're just everywhere outside the house, in all corners. But today, everyone was in because the streets were flooded and school and work were suspended. I got an alert from our NDRRMC, an agency that alerts the country for national disasters and emergencies and it said to expect heavy rains and floods in our area. We have heavy rains as early as September to the end of February. Philippines has 6 months of dry and 6 months of rainy seasons. We have a month more to endure this season of rainshowers and thunderstorms.

No one really asks me how my day was, but if anyone would, it's kind of cold and boring. But I am positive it will be better tomorrow as I have decided to dedicate more time to Steemit and focusing on making good content and familiarizing more with what the platform can do to help people. I hope the sun shines tomorrow and end the floods in the city of Tacloban, I have to be out there for my dialysis session. My Monday isn't at all bad even if I did not finish the post that I -planned to post in Steemit today, I'll just do the #colorchallenge and hope that tomorrow I'd be more productive and accomplish more.

If Monday would be a kind of red, this Monday would just be as light colored as this strawberry. It could still ripen and be more red. Maybe next week's Monday will be better with Steemit, hopefully. Cheers to better Mondays with Steemit!
