A dark place could mean anything from feeling very lonely, ignored or depressed. A dark place is where you feel helpless.

It is a place where you do not care about your life or those around you. Most times when people find themselves in a dark place they get depressed and some times it leads to suicide.

Entering into a dark place is not entirely wrong but you staying there for too long is wrong. To come out of the dark place you will need to be intentional and ready to come out.

How then do you come out of the dark place?

• Stop feeling sorry for yourself. When you feel sorry for yourself in a negative way it makes it harder for you to come out of the dark place.

• Leave your comfort zone and speak to someone about it. You need to speak up for you to be helped. Do not speak to just anybody about it but to someone whom you know will help you come out.

• Declare daily positive affirmative words into your life. Words are very powerful and can make a change in our lives, so always declare positive things into your life.

Finally, We all should know that sometimes God puts us in a dark place because you are called to be a light there, So that when we do come out, people around us can be blessed from our story.

Always remember you are a blessing to others so do not stay too long in the dark place.
