Hello friends, welcome to my blog. I will be participating in this contest organized by @afrinn.
Who is responsible for taking care of and serving elderly parents?
Children are meant to take good care of their elderly parents because when they were still young, they did the same to us, so children should take good care of elderly parents, especially when the person is very old.
My grandma is currently 90 years old now, and she can't do anything by herself, except the help of her grandchildren; I always take my time to Beth her every morning and also wash her clothes before going to school.
What should be the attitude towards elderly parents in society?
We should show respect, love, and care for elderly parents in society; when someone is old, he or she will be angry, so it is our duty to care for them and show them that their children still love them.
We should always give them a listening 👂 ear, even though what they are saying is not making sense, give them attention, and also help them with the little we can.
How can the dignity and security of elderly parents be ensured in society?
Elderly parents dignity and security can be endured in the society when we know the right thing to do, like caring for them, not abusing them, because when our parents start getting old, they will start behaving like little children, so this the time to show them love not abusing them and insulting them unnecessarily.
We should provide for them both financially and otherwise.
We should make them to always feel at home, by doing all this believe me their dignity will be endured in the society.
What steps should be taken to protect the mental and physical health of elderly parents?
There are many steps that should be taken to protect the mental and physical health of elderly parents.
We should always take our parents every month for proper check-ups in the hospital; when our parents get old, their immune systems will be weak, so they can't fight diseases as before, so we should always check to know if they are okay or not.
If we know that we can't take good care of them due to business or other things, we should hire a nanny who will be taking good care of them.
Health is wealth, and cleanliness is next to Godliness; we should always make sure that the environment that our elderly parents are staying in is very conducive for them, and we should keep it clean always.
We should take them to do a little exercise; this will help their bone, and it will also make them look good and strong every time.

Hello @mercybliss, we should learn to care for our elders because they were the ones go to cure of us when we were still young. You're kind gesture of taking care of your grandmother shows that you were brought up by good parents. I am sure that your grandmother will be very pleased with this generous out of yours, paying attention to what our elders is a way of being humble and respectful telling them we will remain grateful for their love. Taking our elderly ones for checkup is a way of maintaining their mental health and overall well-being. We should also help them stay healthy by taking them on vacations, tell them jokes to increase their lifespan, this will help us create a strong bond with our elders and prevent certain diseases that may arise due to poor treatment. Your post highlights a lot of facts that elders are important for societal growth and economics stability, elders guy the Young to make decisions that will better them.
