Lapu-Lapu City 1st Meetup: Cebu, Philippines
Great Day Steemians! So the meetup was a success. Yeeeeaaah! Our first meetup here is at McDonalds Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu Philippines.
It was a pleasure to meet each person that came. Thank you to all steemians member to make this 1st meetup a great time. It was an awesome time to connect and mingled with other steemians and getting to know each other and talked about steemit.
Our venue was a perfect place for us. We have a big table which was a great setting for chatting and discussing all about steemit while enjoying some refreshments and new knowledge about steemit.
I was having so much fun hanging out with my co-steemians. I can't imagine how the steemit grows fast here in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu Philippines. This was our 1st meetup but it was so amazing looking for the numbers of attendees.
At one moment I looked around and snap a lot of photos. Among the total numbers of the steemians attendees, most of us are newbie. We will not just stop with this number but let us make this community more productive and will grow better.
In our meetup, we talked about many things. Since most of us are newbie we had a lot of questions to ask, and special thanks to @bien for giving us more tips on how to grow in this community.
Our meetup discussion covers many things: The basic steemit, The quality of the content in your article, How to connect and interact with the other co-steemians, How to use the steepshot and what to post, How to sell SBD and How to cash out with the use of coins.ph.
Talking to other people who are also interested to hear about steemit is a great pleasure. Most co-steemians talk about the steemit in real life. It's also encouraging to hear the ups and down that the steemians encounter. Knowing that the others are are going to have struggles and success can makes me motivate in on keep steeming and keep on improving in this platform.
We were having so much fun at the end of the meetup at the same time lot of learnings. I'm looking forward for more meetups and lot of co-steemians to be with.
