Achievement 1: Self Introduction | Verification Through Introduction
Best regards to you all. Here`s my introduction post as a beginning of my journey here in this wonderful platform.
Konnichiwa! Its nice to be back in my old account. Actually I made a new account its @mashi28 but I recovered this account just this morning so I decided to use it. So here I am again introducing myself to you all.
I am Mercy Matedios, 25 years young and holding a degree of Elementary Education last 2007 but as of now I'm not using my profession as a teacher because I want to discover and explore more about myself and I think that teaching is not really my passion.
I am currently residing in Japan for almost a year. This coming February 14 is my first year here in Japan so cheers for another 2 years. Ganbatte ! I am living in Japan`s Seto Inland Sea which is the Shodoshima Island. This island was the first area of Japan who successfully grow olive trees. Actually this island was known as Olive Island. Its a small island but it is a popular destination for domestic tourism in Japan and its a perfect place to live.
Living in a foreign country is one of the things that we must try at least once. It is challenging and terrifying yet it is like an adventure. Life will change because you need to adapt their culture their ways of living and of course you need to follow their rules. For me their language was the most challenging part. It`s hard to communicate especially in work.
Moving away and saying goodbye to your country, friends and specially to your family was very hard but farewells will get easier as time goes by. If there is a goodbye there will be hello as well. So hold on and will see each other again :)
Through this platform I would like to share my talent and how my life goes here in Japan. Singing is one of my past time during my day off. Here is my sample video :) Hope you like it !
Honestly, I still have zero knowledge on how blockchain works but trying my best to learn more in this platform. Thanks to Newcomers` Community where it has a bunch of idea about this platform. Exploring this platform is very exciting. New and variety of ideas from other members.
