The MVRDV Architecture Department completed a design and construction of a large library in the Tianjin neighborhood, in partnership with a local design company called TUPDI. This cultural complex with an area of ​​33,700 square meters, comprising a conceptual atrium with a luminous Korean center, is one of the largest public libraries in China. The main design of the interior design is like a cascade that flows into the center of space. The corrugated design of the shelves is the main element of the building, which is integrated seamlessly with stairs, chairs, roofs and windows. The Tianjin Library is the record holder due to its tight timing schedule. The design, construction and delivery of 1.2 million book volumes of this collection have been presented over a period of 3 years.

Expenditures related to the implementation of the design and construction of the library are provided by the Tianjin Municipality of China and located in the cultural district of Baniyah. The volume of the building is extruded based on a center plan blueprint, and the remaining arenas are scattered around a spherical atrium around the hall. Book shelves are embedded on both sides of the building's longitudinal walls, which in some places play the role of a platform or staircase. The design of the shelves in this way has played a role in the creation of a bright topography. The lines of the shelves are located along two glass facades that connect the library to the public park outside to the public hallway inside. The corrugated form of the shelves and platforms plays the role of a filter in the control of the sun, so that the natural light does not flow too much inside.

The interior design of the Tianjin Library is a cave space that includes a continuum of fossils. Winnie the founder of the MVRDV Architecture Group said: We were not able to change the form and the field of building outside. After the interior design of the center and the creation of a spherical shape, the exterior nature of the building was formed on the basis of this form and provided a definition of the knowledge space and the presentation simultaneously. We present the core of the building with a wide public space that displays a visual re-reflection of the central space.

The angles and curves have contributed to the stimulation of space and transformed the whole collection into a center for study, discussion and discussion. This 5-story building has extensive training facilities. These educational programs are used by underground spaces as storage of books, archives and technical classes. After entering the ground floor, visitors can easily access books and study space. From one point onwards, the books' flesh plays the role of beautification of the ceiling and the collection, and the book printing plan is connected to the shelves so that space looks like an endless library.
