Coinbase won't add ripple

The price of Ripple has been rising in recent days, fueled by the news that Coinbase will soon add cryptocurrency to its platform. However, the general manager of the company - Brian Armstrong denied these rumors.

On the official Coinbase blog, you can read that no new assets will be added to the platform at the moment.

Coinbase began to be very careful in announcing the introduction of new products to his offer. In December, when added to the Bitcoin Cash platform, the employee or contractor of the company probably spread the information about it two days before the official announcement. As a result, the price of BCH began to grow artificially before appearing on the new platform.

Coinbase users began to criticize the company for their oversight. As a result, the company was forced to initiate an investigation in this matter. If the accusations of using confidential information are true, the company will take legal action against employees.

The creator of Litecoin and former director of Coinbase - Charlie Lee also stated that the company will not add new crypts in the near future.

If the price has been going up on this rumor and it isn't true, I wonder what happens next :)

It sucks that you have to keep at least 20 XRP in a wallet to keep it "active". Now that ripple is over $3 its expensive to get started..

Great post! If you have some shares in Ripple you might be interested in my post!

Too bad because I really like Ripple. It's alright though, there will always be ways to get it. Might not be as convenient as Coinbase, but I'm ok with that. Challenge accepted!
