Marriage according to islam
The religion of Islam is a religion of fitrah. Allah SWT created man so fitrah. So Allah ordered his servant to remain obedient to Him, obeying all His commandments and leaving all His Prohibitions.
Well this time I will write about marriage.
the purpose of marriage
Marriage is the nature of humanity, therefore Islam recommends to marry. Because marriage is a ghazirah insaniyah (human instinct). If the instinct is not fulfilled by the way blessed by God that is marriage, then he will look for satanic paths that many plunge into the valley of sin.
As the word of Allah SWT
"Then face your face straightly to the religion (Allah), it remains on the nature of Allah who has created man according to the fitrah. There is no change in the nature of God. That is the right religion. But most people don't know. "(Ar-Ruum: 30).Islam glorifies marriage
Islam greatly magnifies marriage bonds, so marriage bonds are set in proportion to some religions.
Anas bin Malik ra: "It has been said that Rasulullah SAW which means: "Whoever is married, then he has completed half of his religion. And let him fear Allah in the care of the other half. "(Hadith History Thabrani and Judge).Ease of sustenance for those who have been married
Some people are afraid to marry because according to him after marriage he can not provide for his needs, his wife and his children, but not in the true religion of Islam, because Allah is the one who gives sustenance to every servant, no need to fear of starvation when they have housekeeping , don't worry about the sustenance you will get for the coming days, Allah is merciful and sincere.
As the word is "Have your own men alone and those who are worthy (married) from your male and female servants. If they are poor, God will enable them by His grace. And Allah is All-Knowing (His grace) again knowing best, "(An-Nur: 32)Couples criteria in Islam
Islam has also set some criteria about ideal partner candidates, namely kafa'ah and salih or salihah for every Muslim and Muslim who wants to build an Islamic home.
a. Kafa'ah according to islam
For parents if they want to marry off their children they only see the similarity of wealth, position, social status, and descent. but the similarity of religion is not so in consideration. According to Islam, kafa'ah or similarity, correspondence or degree in marriage is considered an important sting. If a husband and wife have in common, then the effort to establish and build a happy and Islamic household, God willing manifest. kafa'ah according to Islam is measured by faith and devotion to Allah, not with social status, heredity and position.
Allah SWT says in sura Al-Hujurat verse 13: "O mankind, We created you from a man and a woman and made you nation and tribe to know one another. Verily the most honorable among you in the sight of Allah are the most wicked among you. Allah is the Knower, the Knower.
b. choose the righteous or shalihah
Men who want to marry should choose a woman who shalihah and women should choose a righteous man. According to the Qur'an the woman who is shalihah is: "The woman who is righteous is the obedient to Allah again nourishes if the husband does not exist, as Allah has preserved (them)." (An-Nisa: 34)
If the criteria of marriage in Islam above are obeyed and fulfilled, God willing, the Islamic household will be realized.
