Next to a volcano
So I'm visiting my father, and yes as you can read from the title he lives in a very peculiar place. It's been so long since I was here last, 30 years by my estimate, that I recognize absolutely nothing.
I don't have any big plans per say on this city, I'll just play it by ear as they say. That being said, I would like to see the artisan fair if the walk is doable, simply because I'm feeling like getting inspired a bit.
The cost of living here is so low, I simply can't believe my ears. Paying $8 an month for an electric bill sounds crazy to me, coming from a place where $200 is somewhat average.
I'll try to take some good pictures and share, but I'm purposely carrying a phone that is not too appetizing so to speak.

Excellent review @meno, for me it is also surprising to pay so little for electricity, because we also have expensive!
Glad to see you trying to settle in and get used to the new surroundings! It is crazy to consider the amounts we spend over here given the location! However, you will need to get used to certain tradeoffs! Enjoy!
See how good the steem is. One post covers a monthly electricity bill, hehe.
hahahah if only that could translate to florida too...
Where is that Volcano?
Still active?
yeah, still active ;)
Take care ;)
Glad you visited your father after all this long years. And i hope you are enjoying that place
